In their two most recent surveys on trade associations (1996 and 2003) Which? Magazine rated The National Guild Of Removers & Storers as one of the best trade associations in the country and certainly the best of the choices available in the removals industry. So much so that they actually suggested that their readers look up a member of The Guild when choosing a remover!

The reason for Which? Magazine's praise was the Guild's continued commitment to promoting quality and service.

This includes annual independent inspection of its members, membership of The Removals Industry Ombudsman Scheme, a Code Of Practice relating to how members deal with their customers and continual monitoring of members' performance via reply paid quality questionnaire cards handed out to their customer on the day of the move.

The quality questionnaire cards, which come back directly to The Guild, enable us to constantly (and independently) monitor our member's service levels. According to the recently released figures from 2012, of those received, more than 98% were very satisfied customers!

Detailed records are kept on the quality ratings on the cards, (how the customer rates the remover) and at the end of each month the removers with the highest percentage of favourable questionnaire ratings are proudly listed in the monthly top 10 (see below).

Those members consistently achieving a high level of quality ratings on their questionnaire returns throughout the year are then awarded the Guild “Excellence Award” (bi-annually) and "Annual Certificate of Excellence" (annually) for customer satisfaction.
